DONALD C. KIESMAN Peacefully, on November 11, 2006 Donald passed away at Donwood Personal Care Home at the age of 75 years. Left to cherish his memory are Nettie; his children, Bill, Tim (Julie), Al (Brenda), Melinda McCann (Dennis); as well as six grandchildren; sisters, Esther, Emma, Irene, Martha, and Florence; brothers, Bill (Veronica) and Alf (Millie); sister-in-laws, Jennie, Trudy, Mary and Kathy (John); brother-in-law Jacob (Patti); and numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Suzzanna; and brother Arnold. Donald had worked at CN Express for 30 years. He enjoyed the game of hockey, playing in his younger years and watching it later. His favorite pastimes were doing crossword puzzles and cryptoquotes. The family would like to express their gratitude for the wonderful care given to Donald by the staff of Donwood Personal Care Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Viewing will be one half hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald's memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 500-55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8 or to Donwood Personal Care Home, 171 Donwood Drive, Winnipeg, MB R2G 0V9.
