JOHN KINDZIERSKI It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father on Sunday, November 12, 2006 at the Arborg Hospital. John was born May 17, 1922 in Winnipeg. He will be sadly missed by his wife Sylvia; children, Pat (George) Dare, Charles (Wendy), Pauline, Harold (Deanna), Derek and Jim; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Dad is also survived by his brother Bert; sisters, Rose, Vicky, and Adeline. He was predeceased by his mother Pauline in 1955 and father Bartholemiw in 1969. After leaving the army, Dad had various jobs before joining his family's business, Arborg Transfer. Upon his retirement in 1973, Dad took some time off, but decided work was in his blood. He drove a milk truck until his retirement in 1987. He always said it was the best job he ever had. Dad was a talented athlete, excelling in baseball, hockey and curling. In later years, he could be found spending time with his family and tending to his vegetable and flower gardens. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Arborg Legion. A private family interment of ashes will take place prior to the service.
