DOREEN WINONA (nee MASON) KNIGHT April 21, 1930 November 10, 2006 Doreen passed away peacefully in Extendicare, Moose Jaw, SK. Doreen was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Ronald in 2002; her parents, Thomas (Harry) and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Mason in 1970; her older sister Elizabeth (Betty) Mason in 2005. She leaves to mourn her sister Margaret (Jim) Mitchell; nephew Bernard Small; niece Corinne (Gord) Seman and family all of Moose Jaw, SK; niece Norda (Harold) Jordan and family of Calgary, AB; brother-in-law, Hugh (Eileen) Knight of Winnipeg, MB and their family; Geraldine (Biddy) Paquin of Eriksdale, and her family; Edna (Ed) Boss of Stoney Plain, AB and her family, Ruth (Peter) Funk of Winnipeg, MB and their family. Ronnie's family was big so there are numerous nieces, nephews, grand- nieces, and grand-nephews, apologies for not naming them individually; also several Mason family cousins. Doreen and Ronnie retired from military life in 1976 to our family farm in Manitoba. They loved being back in the area they had both grown up in. Doreen enjoyed her gardening, her pets and keeping a beautiful little home Ronnie had built. She was a people person and made many friends wherever she went. Doreen was a loving, caring sister and aunt, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. Cremation to take place immediately with funeral services in Eriksdale, MB and interment at All Hallows Cemetery in the Oatfield, MB area at a later date.
