Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH ALEXANDER SISKA March 10, 1924 - November 12, 2006 With breaking hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our dearly beloved father, father-in-law, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Joseph was predeceased by his loving wife Blanche (May 9, 2005); son Ronald; parents, George and Mary Siska; sister Anne; and brother George. He leaves to mourn his loving children, Barbara, Loretta (Tim), Brenda (John), Rhonda (Randy), Dennis, and Flo. Grandchildren, Shawnna (Michael), Michael (Elisa), Nicholas, Martin (Gillian), Melissa, Charleen, Thomas, Adele, Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Callie, Samuel, and Clayton. Brothers and sisters, John (Mamie), Sr. Barbara, Betty, Mary, Elias (Irma), Victoria (Norman), Ralph (Joan), Gabriel (Veronica); as well as many nieces and nephews. Joe was born in Pinnichy, SK and at the time of his passing was residing in Stonewall, MB. He was a strong and active member of the Knights of Columbus and 55+ Club. During his career days, he worked in Pine Falls for Abitibi, drove for Winnipeg Transit, then moved to Argyle where he took over his father's farm and was Parts Manager at Leo's Sales and Service. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 18 at 1:00 p.m. (Rosary at 12:30 - for those who wish to attend) at Christ the King Church, 315 2nd St. East in Stonewall, MB. Reception to follow immediately in church basement, interment to follow at Argyle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's memory to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
