NORMAN COOK It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leslie (Norman) Cook, on Monday, November 13, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 82 after a short and sudden passing. He was a great husband, father, uncle, and grandfather. Norman will be deeply missed by his loving wife Wilma of 59 years, son Barry (Barb); daughter Pamela (Rick); grandchildren Paul, Ainsley, Jarod and Chelsey, as well as his numerous relatives and friends. Norman was born in Winnipeg and resided in St. Vital. He spent three years in the Navy, and then 42 years at the C.P. Railways as a painter. He was well known for his love of gardening, woodworking, taking pictures, touring restaurants and spending weekends at the cottage in Hunt Lake. He also enjoyed daily outings with his best friend (Wilma) where they found many fun things to do together. He will be deeply missed by many and remembered for his good nature, his caring ways and the love for his family. You will be in our hearts forever . A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with reception to follow.
