Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVICTORIA DURBACZ (nee PALUCH) April 23, 1914 - November 15, 2006 With deep sadness we announce the passing of Victoria Durbacz at the Seven Oaks Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Joe in 1984, son-in-law Rick, granddaughter Bonnie Sue, sister Beatrice, brothers Frank and Stanley. She is survived by her daughters Diane Stumpf (Lloyd Hannesson) and Lil Hohenstein; her grandchildren of whom she was so proud, Donna (Wally) Kruger, Tom (Wendy) Stumpf, Wayne (Marta) Stumpf, Lori (Terry) Trump and Kevin Hohenstein; her great-grandchildren Jenny (Richard), Dayle, Devan, Tiffany, Brian, Aaron, Ashley and Luke; great-great-grandson Logan; her sisters Helen and Josephine; brother Ed (Eleanor); sister-in-law Helen; also many relatives and friends. Mom was born and raised in Inwood and lived a very full life. She was a very hard worker and a well-known market gardener and egg producer on McPhillips. She loved berry and mushroom picking, fishing, and travelling across Canada and the USA. She was a great cook, a knitter and loved doing the Free Press Jumble. Vicki loved her apartment at the Hedges where she made many friends playing bingo, cards and excelled in shuffleboard. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Flowers gratefully declined.
