ISABELLA (BELLA) RUTH BUDGELL (nee BALL) It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Bella on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at the Deer Lodge Hospital at the age of 90 years. Bella passed peacefully after a brief illness. Bella leaves to mourn her passing her brother Frank Ball (June); sister-in-law Pat Ball; sons Harry (Deedee), Bevan (Liz), Leonard, and David (Dianne); grandchildren Harry, Tannis Kuryk (Bob), Cari (Kevin), Kati, Elizabeth Botterill (Trent), Curtis, Kristen and Alexander, and great-grandchildren Curtis, Riley, Morgan, Randi and Lainie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives in Canada and England. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Harry; infant daughter; father Frank Ball, mother Ruth Ball, sister Edna MacKay, brother-in-law Jim MacKay, and brother Art. Born in Winnipeg on September 18, 1916, Bella lived in St. James with her family throughout her life. After graduating from school she worked briefly as a housekeeper and then for several years at Eaton's mail order. After raising her family, she worked until retirement for Weston's Bakery. Bella got great pleasure out of seeing her children and grandchildren thrive and enjoyed watching as they participated in various activities. Bella was extremely active in the St. James Anglican Church where she was a Sunday School Leader and a member of the ACW and the Alter Guild. She was also very active in various sports including curling and swimming. Later in life Bella maintained an especially active life, attending St. James Church, doing needlepoint and rarely missing a televised curling bonspiel or Bomber game. She also preserved her love of swimming, participating in an Aquacise group twice a week. Throughout her lifetime Bella made many very close friends, whom she cherished dearly. Bella's Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m. in St. James Anglican Church, 195 Collegiate St. at Portage Avenue, with The Venerable Fletcher Stewart officiating. A private family graveside service will be held in St. James Anglican Cemetery. Our family wishes to express our appreciation to the staff of Deer Lodge Centre 2W for their care and compassion. Donations to a charity of ones choice are welcome in lieu of flowers. Bella's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
