KATHARINA UNRAU (nee JANZEN) Peacefully, Katharina (Tina) Unrau passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at Bethania Personal Care Home, with her daughter A nne by her side. Tina was predeceased by her husband Abe (1986); infant son Frank (1931); son Albert (2000); son-in-law Frank (1996) and daughter-in-law Jean (2006). She is survived by Dianna Unrau, Margaret (Wilf) Turner, Anne (Stan) Funk, Gary Unrau; 11 grandchildren and their spouses, and 10 great-grandchildren. Born in Manitoba, Tina moved to Saskatchewan at an early age. She was baptized in her teens and considered her faith important in her life. She and Abe raised their family on a farm near Mayfair, Saskatchewan, moving to Clarkleigh, Manitoba in 1963 and later retiring to Selkirk, Manitoba. She loved gardening, baking and painting her home. She will be remembered for her smiles, positive attitude, sense of humour and generosity. The family extends a sincere thanks to the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for their excellent care and thoughtfulness. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Eastview Community Church, 3500 DeVries Ave., Winnipeg with interment at 2:30 p.m. in the Clarkleigh Cemetery.
