DALE SOLOMON PLOURDE 1931 - 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear husband, father, and grandfather, on November 13, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 74. After suffering a heart attack he died peacefully with all his family by his side. Dale will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Darlene; sons, Terry and Brad (Nancy-Jo); daughters, Heather, Vanessa (T.J.) and Candace, and granddaughters, Randi-Joe and Reyann. He was predeceased by his first wife of 33 years, Darlene Mavis, and his parents Samuel and Mary Plourde. Dale was born December 16, 1931 in the Kirkland Lake, ON area. He married Darlene Mavis (McGill) on October 20, 1953. They later moved to Winnipeg, MB where they had two sons, Terry born 1957 and Brad born 1965. In the 1960s Dale worked in the Construction Industry and he drove a cement mixer. In the early 1970s Dale and Darlene started their first business, The Pampered Pet , on Nairn Avenue. From 1982 to 1987 they owned a video store, Leisure Movie Stop . After losing his first wife to cancer in 1986, Dale married Darlene Litke and became the father of her three girls. With respect to Dale's wishes he will be cremated with no formal service. You are invited to join us at Callsbeck Fellowship Chapel, 1445 Callsbeck Ave. on Saturday, November 25 at 2:00 p.m., to remember and celebrate Dale's life.
