WENDY LYNN YOUSIF (nee Klippenstein) Following a lengthy battle with ALS, Wendy Yousif, aged 40 years, passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Waleed; daughters Kedusha and Nadia; parents Edwin and Maria Klippenstein; sisters Brenda (Elmer) Funk and Carol (Tim) Taves; brother Albert (Evelyn) Klippenstein, Gerald (Margaret) Klippenstein and Eric (Angela) Klippenstein; parents-in-law Hanna and Wardy Yousif and family; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Wendy loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her girls and meeting new people. Travelling was a passion of Wendy's and she talked a lot about her trips. The family would like to thank the staff of 5 West at Deer Lodge Centre for their care; the ALS Society and Kirby House, in particular Diane Rosemary and Sue Erickson; Dr. C. Bourque for his support; and to Wendy's friends and co-workers at Riverview Health Centre for their friendship. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2006 at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Interment will follow at the Hespeler Cemetery in Niverville, Manitoba.
