AUDREY LUELLA KINKEAD Peacefully with family by her side on November 18, 2006 at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital, our mother Audrey Luella Kinkead passed away. Audrey was born April 7, 1933 to Ben and Clara Rothwell in Argyle, MB. She met and later married William Kinkead in May 1952 at St. Oswald's Church. In 1953 they bought their first home in the Argyle area. Together they raised four sons. In 1966 Bill and Audrey moved to Eriksdale and ran a beef and dairy farm. A fifth son was born to them in 1974. After selling the dairy they began selling eggs to local businesses. Together as a family they farmed until 1980 when Bill and Audrey moved to Ile des Chenes to be closer to his work. Suddenly in November 1982, Bill passed away leaving Audrey and Scott to move back to Mulvihill. The highlights of her days included family gatherings, driving grandkids to horse shows and swimming lessons, and many hours babysitting. She later moved to the Leisure Lodge in Eriksdale where she enjoyed many birthday parties, bingo games and get-togethers with her lady friends. In earlier years she was a member of the Lundar Royal Purple. She also enjoyed cruising around town on her motorized scooter with two of her grandkids, Austin and Cauy while they rode on their bikes or on-board with Grandma. Audrey was predeceased by her husband Bill; her parents, Ben and Clara and her sister Carol. She leaves to mourn her family, Ben and Deb and their children Clint (Tracey), Tammy (Sam) and Benjamin; Fairlie and Cindy and their daughter Jen (Shea) and their children Ethan and Wyatt, and daughters Charissa and Brandy; Kevin and Charlene and daughter Patti (Taylor), daughter Amanda (Trevor) and their children Will and Morgan, daughter Holly (Chris) and their son Kevin Jr.; Bob and Val and their children Lacey, Syd and Andrea; Scott and Vienna and their children Austin, Cauy and Gage; her sisters Gayle (Don) and Marvel (Walter) along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the Eriksdale Recreational Centre with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the Rec Centre. Service will conclude at the Rec Centre with lunch to follow. Cremation to take place and a family graveside service at the St. Oswald's Church in Argyle, MB. Pallbearers will be her five sons Ben, Fairlie, Kevin, Bob, Scott and grandson Clint. The family would like to THANK the many Homecare workers and the nursing staff at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care of Mom during her illness.
