FRANCIS (FRANK) SURTEES BENNETT It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Frank Bennett at his residence on November 17, 2006 at the age of 78 years. Frank is survived by his wife Anne; sons, Paul (Lynn), Steve, David and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother David (Shirley) and his sister Emily Taylor (John) both of England. Frank came to Canada in 1957 and was employed by Canada Safeway for 35 years. Frank served as a Royal Marine Commando in the British Military and was a 49 year member of the Charleswood Legion. He enjoyed darts, golf and cards. He was also an accomplished sharpshooter. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 23, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Charleswood Legion Tank Room, 6003 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6 He will be truly missed.
