She is survived by her daughter Vicky Vargas (Jun) of Winnipeg; two sisters, Lita Acaya and Susan Villena (Felix) in the Philippines; granddaughters, Marie (Rhex), Sheila, Angie and grandson V Jay (Cheryl) Vargas; great-granddaughters, Cairha, Tintin and Caytha; nieces in Winnipeg, Linda and Mona Becca. She'll be missed by her family and friends, both in Winnipeg and the Philippines. Lamay will be held on Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 27 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church.
