SERGIO LISI 1932-2006 Peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2006, surrounded by his family, Sergio succumbed to complications resulting from his lengthy but courageous battle against Parkinson's disease. Dad's entire life was dedicated to his family. To him family was everything and he worked hard every day of his life to ensure they were never in need. Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life are his devoted wife Vincenza, his children Elio (Derna) Lisi, Angela (James) Pomarensky, Michele Lisi, Beatrice (Antonio) Michelli, Etta Lisi, Dino (Charlene) Lisi; his grandchildren Wes, Megan, Diana, Gianna, Angelo, Daniel, Antonio Jr., Nicholas, Alyssa, Isabella, Sydney and Noah; as well as numerous other family and friends with special gratitude to Frances and Peter Miele for all their support. Pallbearers will be his sons Elio, Michele, Dino, his grandson Wes, his nephews Bato and Bernardo. A viewing for family and friends will take place on Friday, November 24, between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m., in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 25 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Interment will follow in the Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Society Manitoba, 171 Donald Street, Suite 302, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1M4.
