STEVE LAVALLEE Peacefully, after a short but courageous battle with cancer, Steve at the age of 80 years passed away on Monday, November 20, 2006 at the St. Boniface Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Juliette (nee Delorme); his son Michel-René and daughter-in-law Karen. Steve leaves to mourn his children, Elaine, Adrien, Raymond (Doris), Gisèle Saltise, Roseline Loewen, Louise (Jim) Nesbit, Marcel (Roberta), Bernadette (Marlowe), Marielle Ranville, Rachelle, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also is survived by his sister Thérèse Lavallée as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and understanding, as well as a special thanks to Dr. Yip and Dr. Armstrong. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 24 at Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, 629 Leola Avenue. A private interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital and Research Foundation, D1003-409 Taché Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.
