ELLEN FITZGERALD Peacefully and with dignity on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the Concordia General Hospital, Ellen Fitzgerald (nee Johnson) passed away at the age of 80 years. Ellen was predeceased by her loving husband Ken; her father Bill; brother John and sisters, Charlotte and Phyllis. Ellen will be forever remembered with love by her only son Ted (Erin); grandchildren, Shaun (Sabrina), Heather (Christian) and Kyle and her three great-grandchildren, Austin, Faith and Alexis; stepdaughter Yvonne Kimber (Roy) and their children, Richard and Julie and their families. She is also survived by her mother Millicent Johnson; sisters, Grace (Art) Denslow, Margaret (Robert) Pitt and Joyce Hardy, as well as many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Concordia Emergency Unit and 3West for their excellent care. The family would especially like to express our gratitude to Eileen, Trisha and Joey for showing us their kindness and compassion when it was needed most. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in Ellen's memory. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 25 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Rev. Stephen Sharman officiating. Interment in the Neepawa Cemetery at a later date. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
