OLGA BERTHA BIBERDORF After a lengthy illness, our beloved mother and grandmother, Olga, passed away peacefully at Bethania Nursing Home on November 20, 2006 at the age of 81. Olga is survived by her daughters, Elaine (Bill) Johnston and Carole Reid; grandchildren, Philip of Montreal, Russell and Lauren of Winnipeg, Natalie of New York, Kevin of Edmonton and Justine of Winnipeg. She is also survived by her brothers, Art Topnik, Gordon (Ruth) Topnik; sister-in-law Elsie Topnik; brother-in-law Henry Schultz; brother-in-law Jake Sachvie and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband Philip Eilmes; second husband Harold Biberdorf; her brother Jake and sisters, Tillie, Rose, Lillie; sister-in-law Etta; brother-in-law Ted Stengel and her parents John and Lydia. Olga was born in Kleefeld, MB on September 28, 1925. She was a warm, loving, hardworking person who loved flowers, gardening, canning and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed recreational singing and exploring Canada in their motor home with her husband Harold. Olga worked for many years as a supervisor in the kitchen at the Health Sciences Centre. She was a long time member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Transcona. The family would like to thank the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for their excellent care. Funeral service to be held on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 401 Kildare Avenue West. Interment to follow at the Transcona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
