LILLIAN STOLLER (nee ROSE) It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Lillian at the Riverview Health Center on November 8, 2006 at 77 years of age, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Lillian was predeceased by her husband Harvey and is survived by her loving children Lawrence (Diane), Barb and Marc Fayerman; grandchildren Alex and Halee. Also mourning her passing are her brother Irving Rose of Vancouver; Aunt Freda Gillman; nephews Scott (Teresa), Perry (Marlene), Daniel (Karla), and their children. Many cousins and friends, who loved her, will also miss her dearly. With her interest in politics Mom worked many years for the Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba, under Sterling Lyon, and Gary Filmon. In retirement, Mom enjoyed time with her friends in Hawaii, weekly Bridge games, meeting with her walking group, and volunteering at the Rady center. However Mom's greatest joy was spending quality time with her children and grand-children. The family wishes to thank all the 3E unit staff at Riverview Health Center for the care and kindness given over the past several months. Services were held on Friday November 10, 2006 at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery with longtime friend Cantor Gerry Daien officiating. Pallbearers were Perry Rose, Walter Sutherland, Norm Mayer, Alan Bloomfield, Seth Mayer, and Zach Zatser. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Riverview Health Center, Cancer Care Manitoba, or a charity of your choice.
