MARY HOILETT (nee ANDREW) 1941 - 2006 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother after a long courageous battle with cancer. Mary Hoilett passed away peacefully on November 20, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband of 35 years, Keith Hoilett. She will be dearly missed by her loving sons, Rupert (Wanda), Trevor (Tracy); grandsons, Jalen and London; brothers and sisters, Alan (Manilla), Joseph (Sylvia), James (Lynn), Mark (Jean), Matthew, Magdelyn, David, Lydia (Arthur), George, numerous nieces and nephews; dear cousin Jenny and her many loving friends. Mary was born July 20, 1941 on the Island of Domenica, WI. At the age of 19 Mary moved to England and began her training as a L.P.N. in Scotland. Soon after, Mary met her husband Keith and had two devoted sons. In the late 1960s Mary and Keith moved their family to Winnipeg and eventually built their own home in St. Andrews, MB. Mary spent the majority of her nursing career at Middlechurch Home. She was also very actively involved with M.A.L.P.N. Throughout her many years of devoted service Mary formed many lifelong friendships. Mary loved her family dearly and cherished her time she spent with them. Her grandsons made her eyes sparkle with each visit, and the two boys loved visiting with Grandma Mary . The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Dr. Marriane Krahn and her very special nurse Bonnie for their inspirational care. In addition, a very heartfelt thank you to Dr. Anthony Koufman and his colleagues at the Health Sciences Centre Neurosurgery Department. We would also like to acknowledge the very dedicated staff on 5B at St. Boniface Hospital for their compassionate care. A service celebrating Mary's life will be held today at the Atlantic Garden City United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Breast Health Centre at 400 Taché St. God is too wise to be mistaken; God is too good to be unkind; So when you don't see his plan; When you can't trace his hands, Trust his heart.
