MARIAN JOCELYN WOLLMANN Peacefully, with her family by her side Marian Jocelyn Wollmann passed away on November 18, 2006 at Health Sciences Center after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Marian will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children, Christopher and Stephanie Wollmann-Olson; their father Walter Olson; sisters, Martha Karagiannis (Barry), Bertha Monrose (Keith) and Sarah Maines (Keith); brothers, Ruben (Christine nee Monrose) and Sam (Amy nee Notarianni); sister-in-law Maryanne (nee Sawatsky); stepmother, Dorothy; three stepsisters, Debbie Chan (Tom), Katherine Johnson (Steve) and Barbara Adams (Neil); and also survived by many nieces, nephews, stepniece, stepnephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Marian was born March 4, 1957 on a farm in Springfield, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Barbara (nee Waldner); her brothers, Jake and Jonathan and stepsister Susan Trefz. Family was everything to Marian. She was a devoted, loving and caring Mom and friend - known for her humble, kind and gentle spirit. A private family service was held on November 23, 2006 followed by an interment service at Chapel Lawn cemetery officiated by Pastor Jeff Potts. Special thanks to the care team at Health Sciences Centre (H4 Unit), and Dr. L. Brandes and his assistant Cheryl for their compassion and support and also, for many kind words expressed by family, friends and the numerous prayers offered on behalf of the Wollmann Family.
