MARJORY WYLLIE STEWART (CORNELIUS) Beloved wife of Frederick William Stewart passed away on Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Victoria General Hospital. She was born in Thorold, Ontario on January 31, 1922 and later moved with her family to Toronto, Ontario. She was predeceased by her parents James and Martha Cornelius and by her sister Elsie. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Frederick; son Malcolm; his wife Catherine and grandchildren, Meghan and Graham, as well as two nieces and their children and other family relatives. She was an active member in the Presbyterian Church in Toronto and in the Sons of Scotland Association. She worked for several years for Davis and Henderson Company Printers until her marriage on July 4, 1953 after which she moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba with her husband. Marjory was a loving and caring person and a proud mother. She continued to be active in the organizations in the Anglican Church to which her husband belonged. For many years she overcame a heart condition and cancer with courage, determination and patience, never complaining either at home or in hospital. She especially appreciated the skill and care provided by her doctor, Kevin Coates, for many years, for the care by the attendants and staff in the Family Medicine Ward at the St. Boniface Hospital during her recent stay there, for the home care workers who made it possible to live in her own home and for the compassion shown by those in the Emergency Services at Victoria General Hospital when she died. Marjory loved her home and her family and will be sorely missed. She will be cherished and loved in our memories forever. Cremation has taken place. A service of thanksgiving and praise for her life among us will be held by the Reverend Phil Barnett at St. Peter's Anglican Church, 755 Elm Street at Grant Avenue in Winnipeg on Monday, November 27 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Marjory's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
