NELLY ANASTACIO March 1, 1937 - November 23, 2006 It is with great sorrow, we announce the passing of Nelly Anastacio on November 23, 2006 at the age of 69, surrounded by family. Nelly will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her husband Bernard; son Fred and wife Sandy; grandchildren, Alicia, Darian and Adrianna; daughter Nelly May; son William and wife Sharon; sisters, Remy Santiago (of Vancouver), Janet Perez de Tagle and Mercy Noces (of Vancouver); brother Alex (Boyet) Alfonso; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Nelly was predeceased by her parents Alfredo and Crispiniana Alfonso, sister Angelina Ortillio and niece Baby Ortillio. Special thanks to the staff at Concordia Hospital for their kindness and compassion. Lamay (viewing) will be held between 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight on Saturday and Sunday, November 25 and 26, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 27, St. Peter's Parish, 748 Keewatin, with Fr. Samson celebrant. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Family was Nelly's greatest joy. She showed her love for us with generosity and devotion. She was our Mama - our support and strength. You will always be in our hearts. We love you Mama. What we would give to clasp your hand, To see your smile, To hear your voice that meant so much.
