Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGILBERT DAVID BARKMAN June 26, 1942 August 23, 2006 In the early morning hours of Thursday, November 23, 2006, our dear brother Gilbert, aged 64 years, passed away at the Grace Hospital. Gilbert was born on June 26, 1942 in Steinbach, MB. Remaining to cherish his memory are his sisters, Dianne Inman (Roy), Mary Anne Wiebe (Peter), as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Martin B. Barkman (1987) and Agnes T. Wiens Barkman (1979); sister Linda (1971), and brothers, Randolph (1962), Clifford (2004) and Elvin (2006). A private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 29 in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gilbert's memory may be made to the Deer Lodge Centre Foundation, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3.
