ELDA UNGER (THIESSEN) March 16, 1919 November 24, 2006 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, who passed away the morning of November 24, 2006 at home with her husband, David, by her side. Elda will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her sons Rodney (Verna), Murray (Marie) and daughter, Beverley. Also left to mourn her passing are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, four stepchildren and their families, as well as extended family and friends. Elda was predeceased by her first husband, Levi Thiessen, parents Henry and Margaretha Enns, her sister Dorothy, and brother Ted. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, November 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church, 500 Lagimodiere Blvd. A viewing will take place one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Union Gospel Mission, PO Box 1073, Station Main, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2X4 which Elda supported for many years.
