PETER SEMCHYSHYN Suddenly on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the Portage District General Hospital, Peter Semchyshyn of Portage la Prairie, MB beloved husband of Zennia Semchyshyn passed away at the age of 67 years. Prayers will be held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home, Portage la Prairie, MB on Wednesday evening, November 29, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Portage la Prairie, MB. on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Father Michael Wollbaum officiating and Deacon Michael Strilec assisting. Peter leaves to mourn his passing his wife; Zennia (nee Baschuk), one son; Wayne (Patty), three daughters; Kathleen (Harold) Cherkas, Karen (Daryl) Petras and Linda (Mike) Jackson, eight grandchildren and one great grandson. Also surviving is one brother; Tony (Eileen) Semchyshyn, four sisters; Nettie Zwarich, Jessie (Peter) Chipney, Emily (Harvey) Woloski and Sylvia (Pete) Smith, three sisters-in-law; Rose Semchyshyn, Millie (Ken) Pascal and Betty (Steve) Kolochuk and one brother-in-law; Albert (Evelyn) Baschuk and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
