WILMA JEAN BUSCH (nee NICOL) The world's greatest mom, grandma, sister and friend, Wilma Jean Busch passed away suddenly on Friday, November 24, 2006, at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 70 years. Wilma leaves a rich legacy of love shared by her four children; Vernon (Susan), Dee (Peter), Shari (Brian), William (Sharon); six grandchildren, Natalie, Anna, Kathryn, Rhys, Kenya and Carson; her sister Shirley Nicol, her brother James Nicol (Esther); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. She is pre-deceased by her parents William James and Thelma Blanche Nicol; grandsons Logan and Hunter, and her ex-husband Alvin Fredrick Busch. On September 18, 1936, Wilma was born in Brandon, Manitoba, where she lived a large part of her life raising her family. She later moved to Winnipeg, where she made many friends; too numerous to list. Wilma loved her flowers, butterflies and reading. She was happiest of all in her apron, baking her Christmas goodies, which will be missed by all. She loved her time as a volunteer with the Stradbrook Senior Center and the 400 Stradbrook Tenant's Association. Through these associations she made many friends and her family would like to thank each and everyone that came into her life and touched her in their own special way. Wilma got to see her children marry, have their own children, and to spend time with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Our mom was not rich of money, but that was never a problem for her children: We all carry with us her greatest gift of all - her generosity of LOVE. Wilma's funeral service will be held on Thursday November 30 at 1:30 p.m. in Crescent Fort Rouge United Church, 525 Wardlaw Avenue at Nassau St., Winnipeg. The family asks that in lieu of flowers or donations that in memory of Wilma's generous spirit that you do an act of random kindness. Mom, we love you. Wilma's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 4665
