DONALD GARVIN SHILLINGTON April 12, 1940 - November 27, 2006 On Monday, November 27, 2006 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Don passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Remaining to cherish Don's memory are his wife Audrey and her family. Dad will also be missed by his daughter Kimberly (Rob Milani), son Don (Lynne) and his beautiful grand-daughter Maria. Since Don's retirement in 1997 from Labatts (ABD), he liked to keep busy. In his travels with his wife, he met many new friends who have been kind in their support. His passions included playing golf with his friends, watching sports and family get-togethers. Don was happy to have shared a very memorable golf holiday with his son Don in Alberta this past August. Don's funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2 at 10:30 a.m. in Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave. (corner of Mount Royal Road and Ness Avenue). For those who wish, parking will be available in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church parking lot located on Ness Avenue. A private interment will be held. The family would like to thank the staff of Health Sciences Centre and St. Boniface Palliative Care. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu, donations in Don's memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J2 would be appreciated.
