RONALD ROSSMAN It is with much sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Ron Rossman, on Monday, November 27, 2006. Ron will be sadly missed by his wife Irene; children, Sandy, Christine and Curtis, his grandchildren, Kristopher, Macee, Cole, Jasmine, Jade, Jarod and numerous family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Anne and Alois. Ron was born in Winnipeg on May 24, 1935. He started work at the Winnipeg Free Press as a mailer in 1950 and became a pressman in 1954. He continued to work at the Free Press until his retirement in 1996. Ron faced numerous medical challenges in the past year with both dignity and humour. He made many friends during his numerous stays at the hospital and appreciated all their kindness and support. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital's Emergency, Internal Medicine Ward and Intensive Care Unit. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 1 at 10:00 a.m. in the Coutu Chapel, 680 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a health organization or a charity of one's choice.
