ANNE UGLANICA (nee SHEBAYLO) Peacefully after a short illness on November 29, 2006 our beloved mother passed away at the age of 97 at the Victoria Hospital. Anne was born in Belorussia on September 9, 1909 and immigrated to Canada in 1919. Anne and her late husband Victor were married in 1930. She is survived by her daughter Lovie and son-in-law Tom Liewicki and brother Bill. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and mother; husband Victor; brother John and sisters, Elizabeth and Vera. Anne was a longtime member of the Russian Cultural Centre of Winnipeg and was a well-known teacup reader, Mrs. Victor . The family would like to thank Dr. R. Hayward for his many years of care and all the nurses and staff at the Victoria Hospital for their kindness and compassion during her illness. We would also like to thank the staff at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for the great care they gave Mother during her stay there. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2 at 11:00 a.m. also at the chapel with Rev.
