Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryETHEL IRENE BERNARD (nee DOUGHTY) December 1, 1918 November 30, 2006 Ethel's family celebrates the life of their wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her daughter Donna Mavins (David) and is survived by her husband of 67 years, Tony; son Arnold (Marlene); six grandchildren, Brad (Patty), Shari (Scott), Heather (Pete), Nichol (Russ), Tony, Renee (Matt) and 14 great-grandchildren. Ethel lived her life, concerned for the well being of her family and friends - Loved by all - A life well lived. At her request no service will be held. Her family wishes to thank the doctors and staff on the 7th floor of St. Boniface Hospital for Ethel's care. Their appreciation is also extended to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at 3 East Wing of the Riverview Health Centre for their concern and exceptional treatment. Also, the Palliative and Home Care Services provided while she was briefly at home gave her much comfort. The family requests donations in Ethel's memory be made to Riverview Health Centre Foundation, 1 Morley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4, or the Canadian Cancer Society (Manitoba Division) 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
