Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMYRA MAY FLEMING Myra May Fleming (nee Browne) passed away peacefully at McCormick Home in London, ON on Friday, November 24, 2006 after celebrating her 100th birthday on October 1, 2006. She was born and raised in Pilot Mound, MB, eldest daughter of the late Wallace and Alice Browne. Myra was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles McClelland Fleming in 1975 and by her dearly loved daughter Joyce Smith of Chicago in 1994. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Lynn Ellis of London, ON and Peggy Cartledge of Richmond, BC, and always loved by her six grandchildren, Charles Smith, Richard Smith, Diana Harmon, Nancy Scott-Thomas, Tannis Brown and David Ellis and 11 great-grandchildren. Myra was an honorary life member of St. John's Guild which supported the Children's Hospital of Winnipeg and spent many decades volunteering for that organization. She was also a founding member of the Winnipeg Book Market project supporting the same charity. Cremation has taken place. In accordance with her wishes, a private service celebrating her life will be held in Winnipeg, at a later date. In Myra's memory, donations may be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, CE501, 840 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1S1. The family wishes to express their thanks to her many friends living in Winnipeg and beyond, who kept in touch with her when it became necessary to move to London in 2002 and who gave her such pleasure throughout her lifetime.
