E. BERNICE COLBERT Born March 25, 1938 in Anola, MB. Bernice passed away on November 29, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital. Predeceased by her parents, Sydney and Katherine Colbert; and her sister Eileen Loudon. Survived by her best friend and companion of 20 years, Irene Bernard; Uncle Jack and Aunt Madeleine Wenman of Guelph, ON, Aunt Mary-Les Colbert of Anola, MB and many cousins. Fondly remembered by Irene's children, Ken / Sandy, Rick / Sheri, Glenn / Marie, Al Jr. / Wendy, Shelly / John, Leslie / Dana; and all the grandchildren. Bernice worked at Eatons for 19 years, K-Mart for 17 years, Motor Coach Industries, Land Titles, and Fort Garry School Division. She was a very dutiful worker, never complained about the tasks before her. We would like to thank Dr. R. J. Darey, Dr. H. Unruh, Dr. Bovell, St. Boniface Emergency, all staff of 5B Ward, Lanyse Guay and Palliative Care. Big thanks to cousins, Dr. Pat Lawrence and Dr. Wanda Wenman, also to the neighbours, Bonnie Kimocovich and Marguerite Foubert, and to the sisters, Lorraine Ledoyen and Helene Olson for being there in the time of need. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 4, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with a viewing one hour prior to the service and officiated by Pastor Tom Campbell with cousins, Dave and Janice Wessel of Dryden, ON. Interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. Pallbearers will be Stuart Colbert, Brian Colbert, Jim Colbert (Swan River), Larry Olson, Harold Lalk, Gerald Kimocovich. Honorary pallbearers will be Patricia Church, Randy Colbert, Gordon Colbert, Sam and Max Kimocovich. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 LAGIMODIERE BLVD. 982-7550
