KEIMPE (DICK) JAARSMA June 3, 1933 November 27, 2006 An empty space was left in our hearts by the sudden passing of our dearly beloved husband, father and Opa on November 27, 2006. He leaves behind his beloved wife of nearly 51 years, Anne; sons, John and Andy (Carmen, Paul and Nicole); daughters, Cindy (Richard and Christopher), Wilma (Kevin, James, Brandon and Kaitlyn) and Amy (Jim, Zach and Dylan). He also leaves to mourn his brother Dirk (Janny); sisters, Hanny, Ans (Alfred) and Froukje and a large extended family in The Netherlands. Born in Westwoud, Holland, Dick immigrated to Canada in 1953. For 40 years he was self-employed in the furniture business, a job he loved and continued to do until the day he left us. Dick was a real people person who embraced everyone and lived his life to the fullest. Special thanks to Dr. MacMillan and Rhonda for all their kindness . A Celebration of Dick's Life will be held on Sunday, December 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
