JOHN ISAAK JR. He was born on January 25, 1950 and peacefully joined his Lord the morning of November 30, 2006. He left behind his parents John and Agnes; wife Bonnie; three children Nathan and Alanna, Tristan, and Rachel; as well as grandchildren Aeben and Talia; his brother Walter and Barb; and his sister Irmy and Al Friesen. John's faith in God was the guiding principle in his life. This was reflected by the way he treated others and the cheerful way he greeted you. He believed that life was a blessing and nothing is to be taken for granted. His unique sense of humour and playful manner would infect those around him. John's hands were rarely idle with woodworking and a plethora of hobbies and projects. His skills were also readily shared with anyone in need. Another passion in John's life was his unquenchable desire to see and experience the world. After graduating with the first class of Computer Technology from Red River Community College, he spent the next 30 years at MTS in a variety of computer related jobs. An early retirement package allowed him to pursue other interests and to continue working with computers part-time for the Mennonite Brethren Church Conference. Celebration of John's life will be on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 3:30 p.m. at the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, 1315 Gateway Road, with a private interment prior in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Viewing and visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 5, from 7:00 8:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Services, 2146 Main Street. In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family asks that donations be made to the Kenyan Sand Dams Project for Water with Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Dr., Winnipeg, MB, R3T 5K9. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 In Loving Memory, Your Family.
