CATHERINE (KITTY) SCHWARTZ It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Catherine Schwartz, our mom, grandma, great-grandma, and friend on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, John in 1995. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Jean Lemay and Hannah Venchuk; sons, John and daughter-in-law Luz, Tony, and Garry and daughter-in-law Jackie; grandchildren, Robert (Karla), Nicole, Megan and Janice and great-granddaughter Juliza. Catherine was born in London, England in 1918. She came to Canada with her parents Tom and Ada Borrer in 1920, where they settled in Winnipeg. Catherine married her husband, John, in 1943 where they raised three sons. She was very devoted to her children, staying at home to raise them. Catherine, a quiet and kind person, took great delight in tending to her garden. She made the best apple pie ever. She loved to go to bingos and to travel to Grand Forks, always looking for some presents for her children and grandchildren. You will always be in our thoughts. Love your family. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 6 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME 220 Hespeler Avenue. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery.
