Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEOPOLD KONCZAK Peacefully, in his sleep, on Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Charleswood Care Centre, at the age of 94, Leopold left this world to join his first wife Johanna. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his wife of 27 years, Kathleen, and her children, Teresa (Paul), Julian, Neal (Lynda); granddaughter Kathleen; and four great-grand-children. Also left to mourn and celebrate his life are his sons, Michael (Judy) and Leo (Murcia); three grandchildren, Clark (Robin), Colleen, Robert (Jennifer); and one great-grandson Logan. Leopold was born October 9, 1912 in Poland. He and Johanna immigrated to Canada in 1951. They settled in Winnipeg to raise their sons. Leopold proudly worked for Maple Leaf Flour Mills until his retirement in 1978. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of the Charleswood Care Centre for their excellent care. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 5, at 2:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street. Interment to follow at the Transcona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to Charleswood Care Centre, 5501 Roblin Blvd. Winnipeg, MB. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
