While in Winnipeg she acquired her teaching certificate, however before having the chance to teach she met and married Ivan Foss in 1940. She then pursued her new career as wife and mother. In the mid 1960s she worked at the Eaton's mail order department. Mom enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She was a great cook, always hosting special occasions. She was kind, unselfish and caring. Many thanks to the staff at Park Manor for their kindness and their care of our mother during the time she was with them.
