DARLENE HARRY January 1, 1958 - November 30, 2006 Beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend of many. With her family by her side, she passed away with dignity and grace, on November 30, 2006 at the age of 48, after a brave battle with cancer. Darlene is survived by her children, Brittany Harry, and Derek McPherson, and the light in her eyes granddaughter, Serenity Harry. Also parents, Fabian and Caroline Morrisseau; siblings, Mervin (Jackie), Alvin (Brenda), Claudia (Barry), Gretta (Lloyd), Sandra, Myles (Crystal) and Jason (Kristen) Morrisseau, Lorne and Darryl (Donna) Spence, and Lorraine (Casey) Irving. She was predeceased by her loving grand-parents, John and Clara Morrisseau, Richard and Helen Harry; sisters, Karen and Gina Morrisseau; brothers, Vernon Morrisseau and Henry Dueck-Harry. Pallbearers are Jamie, Grant and Michael Morrisseau, D.J. Swampy, Ryan Spence, Errol Olson, and Derek McPherson. Honorary Pallbearers are Brittany Harry, Kristen, Laurie, Kalia, Vanessa, Mazey Morrisseau and Jessica Irving. Special thanks to her dearest friends, Larry and Jean Fontaine and Wendy and Lauren for the many years of friendship and support. Wake services will be held at St. Alexander RC Parish hall starting December 2. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Alexander RC Parish in Sagkeeng First Nation on December 5 at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Gerry Sembrano presiding. Russell's Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
