MICHAEL RICHARD BREEN Michael Richard Breen passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at the St. Boniface Hospital, with family and friends by his side. Michael will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Sheila, son Luke, brother Jon, sister-in-law Vanora, sister-in-law Marilyn Brounstein, nephew Eli, niece Shannon Paille, and by Luke's mother, Ilonka, who nursed Michael these past several months with love and devotion. Michael leaves a legacy beyond compare ... a legacy of friends who cared so deeply for his well-being that they saw to it that he was never alone. They slept each night in his hospital room, gathered around him always, and did whatever they could to ease his remaining time with us ... a time Michael lived with dignity, grace and acceptance. Michael's many friendships included those people with whom he worked and those with whom he came in contact, in his career in real estate ... a career he truly loved. He touched many with love and respect, and this was returned to him by all who knew him. With gratitude the family thanks: Shawn Diehl, Lesley Dawyduk, Leslie Fuga, Ron Derksen, Marsha and Morris Karp, Drew Petursson, Debbie Cohen, Wendy Moglove, Mitchell Johnston and Gail Andrews for the devotion they showed their friend. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 3, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Shaarey Zadek Memorial Park, 230 Armstrong Street, Gate 2 and 3. Family and friends who will carry Michael to rest beside his late father, Leon, are: Eli Breen, Ron Derksen, Shawn Diehl, Marcel Himel, Morris Karp, Drew Petursson. A celebration of Michael's life will be held following the service at the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, 561 Wellington Crescent. Shiva at 898 Beaverbrook Street. Wherever you are, it is your family and friends who make your world. Flowers are gratefully declined.
