GLORIA LORRAINE DENNY It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our loving Mother, daughter, sister, niece and a wonderful friend. The Lord eventually calls to all of His children and on November 29, 2006 He called to Gloria and she answered. Born in Barbados to Fitz and Maretha Greaves, she was the first of eight children. She immigrated to Winnipeg in 1970 and completed her nursing training at Red River Community College. She had worked as a nurse for 30 years. She leaves behind her three children Tonia, Lennox and Edwin. Mom always said she wanted to look down on her children to see that they were happy. She will be sadly missed. Special thanks to Aunt Vick and Uncle Graham, the Palliative Care Unit of Riverview Medical Centre, the Oncology Unit at Concordia Hospital and all of those friends that stood by Gloria's side. Funeral service will be held Friday, December 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 256 Smith St. Viewing/ Visitation, two hours prior to service.
