Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHEATHER KAREN STEELE (nee WOLFE) It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Heather Steele, at the age of 44 years, at the Grace Hospice, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, November 30, 2006. Remaining to forever cherish Heather's memory, are her children, Cody and Cassidy, (their father Clint Steele), parents Walter and Arlene Wolfe; sister, Kim Flynn (Mike) and their children Jordan, Megan, Lexie and Riley; brother, Kerry Wolfe. Also mourning her loss are her Aunt Erna and Uncle Oscar Kretchman of Brandon and Heather's special friend Diane Cannon. Heather was born on April 3, 1962 in Brandon, Manitoba. After moving to Winnipeg in 1963, Heather grew up in the Crestview area. She graduated from John Taylor Collegiate and then moved to Calgary for a short period of time, before returning to Winnipeg in 1982. Heather was a long time employee of Westwood Clinic where her warmth and friendly personality made lasting impressions on the clinic's patients and staff. Heather would often bump into patients in the community and always stopped to say hello. Throughout her life, Heather enjoyed spending time with Cody and Cassidy who were her pride and joy. She was an active board member while her children attended Crestview School Children's Centre. Most summer days, Heather could be found outdoors tending to her beautifully landscaped backyard. Heather had a great sense of humor and was always the first person to poke fun at herself. She was a people person who will always be remembered for her thoughtful and caring ways. She made friends easily and will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of meeting her. A private family service will be held to honor Heather's memory. The family would like to thank Dr. Hartley and the wonderful staff at the Grace Hospice for their compassion and special care of Heather during her courageous battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers, donations in Heather's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9 or to the Grace Hospice Memory Garden, 300 Booth Drive, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3M7. Heather's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 4665
