HELEN SYWAK With great sadness, the family of Helen Sywak announces the passing of Helen on December 3, 2006. Helen is survived by her loving husband Max; daughter Nadine (Joe); grandchildren, Kristin and Michael; two brothers, Gordon (Marty), Stan (Thory). Helen was born in Winnipeg on May 5, 1929. She grew up and attended school in Winnipeg, moving to Stony Mountain in 1977. At age 17, Helen met Max and was married on December 2, 1950. During her life, Helen worked at a number of factories as a seamstress. Following her retirement, Helen spent time baking, sewing and taking care of her family. Helen was a kind and unselfish person. When her grandchildren were born, she enjoyed babysitting, playing games and taking them shopping. The family would like to thank Dr. Husarewycz for all the care provided during Helen's stay at Seven Oaks Hospital. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 6 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 7, also at the chapel. Interment at Victoria Cemetery, north on Highway #7, west on Road 84 North. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
