THELMA SYLVIA JEFFERY Thelma was born in Winnipeg on March 22, 1932 and she passed away on December 4, 2006 at Tudor House in Selkirk, MB. Thelma was predeceased by her parents, Melvin and Daisy Jeffery and sister-in-law Wilene Jeffery. She leaves to mourn her sister Verna (Harvey) Nichols; brother Reg and numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored and loved their visits. In her younger years, she worked at M.T.S. as an operator. Then later as a nurse's aide at Princess Elizabeth Hospital. She enjoyed watching figure skating and taking her nieces and nephews to movies. Many thanks to the staff at Tudor House for their care and kindness to Thelma. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 7 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
