ELSIE TELLIER (nee VERMETTE) (OLE DOLL) On December 4, 2006 at the Victoria Hospital, Elsie Tellier, aged 85 years, widow of the late Aurèl Tellier, passed away peacefully with family by her side. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Aurèl, on November 1, 2006; her son Ronald (2003); and her son-in-law Martin (2001). She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children, Annette (Eugene), Gerry (Bev), Lucienne (Danny), Roger, Jo-Ann (Randy); her grandchildren, J.P. (Diane), Renè, Rachelle (Mike); and their mother Brenda, Kirk (Monique), Michelle; and one special great-grandson, Austin. Family was always very important to Elsie, especially her grandchildren. Throughout her life, Elsie did much traveling. She and Aurèl took various winter holidays. One of her most treasured vacations was when she and her sister Augustine went to Portugal. Elsie took pride in sewing, constantly being creative when making garments for her family. She was an active curler belonging to Pembina Curling Club. Elsie and Aurèl loved to bowl, spending many evenings at Gary Lanes. Mom had many wise sayings remembering one...when jokingly asked which kid she loved more, her response was, whichever child needs it most at that time. A special thank you to the staff at the Victoria Hospital and the 4th floor nursing staff and home care. In keeping with Elsie's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Manitoba Branch, 730 Taylor Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3M 2K8. Everything will be O.K. now that I'm with you Darling Although we'll miss you Mom, we find comfort in knowing that you have been reunited with Dad and Rav. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Today we said goodbye to my grandmother's sister, Augustine Abraham née Vermette and I can only hope they are together in heaven looking down on us. "Keys" was my buddy, my best friend. Not a day goes by I don't miss her incredibly. I play the song Beam Me Up by Pink whenever I need a moment to spend with her. I love you Keys...
