MARTHA HAYES (nee FRIESEN) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear Martha, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. The Lord eventually calls us all and on Monday, December 4, 2006, she answered. Predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Tina Friesen (nee Neufeld) of Halbstadt, MB. Left to mourn and cherish her memory are her husband Douglas Hayes; son Todd; daughter Sandi (Jeff); daughter Margaret (Sam), and five grandchildren, Ariel, Zachary, Robyn, Lynden and Judd. She is also survived by her sisters and brother and their children, Bertha Friesen of Steinbach, MB, Ben Friesen (Sharon) of Moose Lake, MB, Hilda Martin (Dennis) of Steinbach, MB and Kathy Harder (Grant); 10 nieces and nephews, along with their spouses and children, as well as many more family and friends. She loved her family and friends very much and will be deeply missed by all. We would like to thank the Paramedics and Emergency Room Staff of the Concordia Hospital. A special thanks to Chaplain Pastor Friesen for his care and support. Martha's funeral service will take place on Friday, December 8 at 12:30 p.m. in Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with a reception to follow.
