SUSAN GUENTHER (nee NEUFELD) February 11, 1934 - December 7, 2006 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend on Thursday, December 7, 2006. We have peace knowing that she is resting with her precious Saviour. Susan was recently predeceased by her husband Hank. Left to mourn her passing are her children, Shirl and David Krahn; Al and Lois Guenther; Bob and Donna Guenther; Wayne Guenther. Her legacy lives on through her treasured grandchildren, Ryan and Chelsea Krahn, Danica Krahn, Jeremy Krahn, Jason Guenther, Chris Guenther, Alysha Guenther, Mikaela Guenther, Derek Sharp and Jennifer Sharp. Also mourning are numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to family and friends who embraced and welcomed Susan back to the community of Altona. Throughout her life Mom personified I Corinthians 13... Love is very patient and kind, Never jealous or envious, Never boastful or proud, Never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. There are three things that remain - faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love. To know mom was to love her. The funeral service for Susan Guenther will be held on Monday, December 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Altona, MB with interment to follow at the Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Winnipeg, MB. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Sunday, December 10 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
