Corinne was predeceased by parents, Oswald and Alvira Quesnel (Reade); her husband Frank Boulette; her brothers, John, Frank, Theodore and William Quesnel; her sister Peggy Wylie and her son-in-law Kenneth Schoen. Corinne leaves her seven children and their partners to cherish her memory, Mary, David (Stephanie), Sharon, Stephen (Jennifer), Deborah, Mark and Anna Christina (Martin). Her grandchildren, Christian, Ann (Rob), Deborah (Wade), Pamela (Kenneth), Gregory, Samantha (Chad), Ivan, Kevin, Derek, Alicia, Terrance and Meredith, also mourn her passing. Her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Thomas, Anna and Jack were blessed to have her in their lives. Corinne also leaves behind special friends, Jan Matejicka and Susan Boulette, as well as her many nieces, nephews, friends, colleagues and students. Born on June 28, 1926 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Corinne was a tenacious, loving lady with spirit, drive, wit and intelligence. An educator for 48 years, Corinne touched the lives of many students. Her no-nonsense approach to teaching was inspirational! Corinne worked hard to receive her Bachelor of Pedagogy from the University of Manitoba in 1976. Corinne raised her family and lived most of her life in Manigotagan. After her retirement in 1990, Corinne made pilgrimages in Europe and travelled with friends. In 1994 she moved with daughter Sharon and grandson Christian to Brampton, Ontario, where she continued to live life to the fullest. Corinne will be best remembered as a mother, a wife, a grandmother, a friend, and a teacher ... puttering in her garden, pointing out the hummingbirds by the feeder, playing Bingo, tutoring students, watching The Young and the Restless and taking care of her family. Corinne was an active member of her community, and filled with faith. Her great attitude towards life, her sense of humour and her caring nature will be missed the most. Corinne is now at peace and the family wishes to thank the staff of the William Osler Hospital, in Brampton, Ontario, for making Corinne's final days so comfortable. Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Corinne's wishes, a memorial will take place next summer in Manigotagan. A donation can be made in Corinne's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
