ETHEL ROSE PEARSON (nee FARQUHARSON) On Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at River East Personal Care Home, Ethel peacefully went to her eternal rest at age 93. Left to treasure her memory are son Wayne; daughter Heather Wright (Ray); grandsons, Darren (Shu Chen) and Kevin (Brenda); great-grandson Aidan and a second great-grandchild due in January; sister Grace and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1982 and siblings, Daisy, Ted, Jim and Georgie. Family gatherings were Ethel's favourite times in life. A little lady with lots of moxie and a twinkle in her eyes, she overcame many challenges over the years. Special thanks to Ralph, Helen, Florence and the many others that were so important to Mom. Also a big thank you to all the staff at River East, especially Faith Lane (you were like an extended family). A celebration of Ethel's life will be held on Thursday, December 14 at 2:00 p.m. at River East Personal Care Home, 1375 Molson St. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
