MARGARET HLADY (nee STEFANYSHYN) On Friday, December 8, 2006 at the Selkirk and District General Hospital, Margaret Hlady, aged 81 years of Selkirk, MB. Margaret leaves to mourn her beloved husband of 62 years, Bill; her brother Peter (Jean) Stefanyshyn; nephew Richard (Allison) Stefanyshyn; niece Janice (John) Nicklin; sisters-in-law, Marion Warren, Olga Howden; and brother-in-law Michael Hlady, all of Toronto. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Annie Stefanyshyn; and her brother Walter. Margaret was born on September 11, 1925 in Narol, MB. She met Bill and they were married on October 11, 1945. They farmed together in the Oak Hammock area for 58 years. Margaret was a kind, caring and honest person that enjoyed spending time with family, especially at family dinners. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the Little Britain United Church with Rev. Virginia Coleman officiating. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
