Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBORIS FERLEY After recently celebrating his 90th birthday with family, Boris died peacefully on December 8, 2006. Born November 29, 1916 Boris joins those who have predeceased him wife Mary (nee Mc Anulty), sisters, Alice, Irene and Jenny and brothers, Jerry and Nester. He is survived by his children, Susan and Paul, brothers, Zen and Ted, and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Boris served in the Army during the Second World War as a Quarter Master with the 8th Canadian Light Anti Aircraft Regt. He worked for Winnipeg Hydro where he started as a meter reader and held a variety of positions until he retired as Business Manager. Boris loved spending time on the golf course and missed that in recent years, but he continued to pour over books and magazines about golf. Susan and Paul wish to thank the numerous care givers from Drake Medox Health Services, staff at the Surgeon Creek Retirement Residence, Lynne Fineman, Pat Bovlay, staff at St. Boniface Hospital, staff at Grace Hospital and the Winnipeg Cousins. A memorial service will be held at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Fund or a charity of your choice.
